About Me

Hi, Thanks for dropping in! My name is Seán, I am a Husband, Dad, Grandad and Psychotherapist.  

I commenced my counselling journey in 2015 with a Certificate in Counselling skills at MUI Maynooth. After leaving school at the age of 15 and returning to education at 52 was to say daunting at the least. However, after many long hours studying and with great encouragement from my wife, sons, daughter, my colleagues at the NBRU, (National Bus & Rail Union) Bus Eireann and the great people at IICP (Institute of Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy) I achieved my BA {hons) degree and I am now an accredited counsellor/ psychotherapist with IACP

I currently see clients in private practice in-person, on-line or by phone. I also work for Quarryvale, Cherry Orchard & Ballyfermot Family Resource centres as their in-house Gambling Addiction therapist. You can avail of this service in confidence through GAT@quarryvalefrc.ie.

I am an affiliate therapist with Healthero, Abate Counselling, Telus health and Anxiety Ireland. In association with FRC and Slaintécare we have developed a Relapse Prevention Program specifically aimed at people with Problem Gambling. I host this program every Tuesday evening between 7pm and 9pm. This is an eight week in-person course. Booking is strictly by appointment only.
